How to change a Keg

  1. Turn off the gas from the gas cylinder (Left is open and Right is close).
  2. Squeeze or lift the keg coupler and rotate to loosen it from the keg.
  3. Place the new keg into position and reverse step b. So re-connect the keg coupler to the new keg and ensure the handle is down which will allow the beer into the pipes.
  4. Turn the gas valve back on (you may hear the gas going into the keg, this sound should only be for a few seconds).
  5. Pour your beer, the first few pints may be froth simply as there will be air in the pipes. Once this has passed the beer will begin to flow as normal.
