Feel like embarking on an alcohol-filled holiday? If so, then look no further!

Scottish brewer, BrewDog, will be launching the very first craft beer airline on February 21st, 2019. On board will be a bespoke BrewDog Boeing 767 and will fly from London Stansted to Columbus, Ohio.

What can passengers expect?

Passengers will be able to take part in beer tasting, with new beer recipes designed to be at a better quality at high altitude. The flight will also offer beer cocktails, dining and flight care packages which will include branded BrewDog blankets and eye masks.

When passengers land in Ohio, they will spend several touring Columbus and the bar scenes, as well as a day trip to Cincinnati to explore breweries.

Cofounder of BrewDog, James Watt says:

“We took craft beer to the depths of the seas when we brewed an IPA at the bottom of North Sea. Now, we’re turning to the skies aboard BrewDog Airlines.

We’re on a mission to open minds and excite people about what craft beer is and can be. Brewdog Airlines will be an experience like no other, we’ve redesigned the flight experience for optimum beer enjoyment – from the food, to the entertainment, the cabin crew and most of all, the specially brewed high-altitude beer.”

How can you join the flight?

To take part in this ultimate boozy experience, you will need to be an ‘Equity Punk’, one of BrewDogs investors. Unfortunately, the application has now closed for residents of the UK. However, there is a still a chance to win tickets over on BrewDog’s social media pages.

If you’re already an ‘Equity Punk’, you can apply for a place on the flight. It includes accommodation at a Columbus hotel and ranges from £1,250 per person to £2,250 for two people to share a room. You can apply over on the official BrewDog Airlines website!
